India at Asian Games: Live updates from Day 4 action on September 23, 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya

Another exciting day is in store for India at the Asian Games 2026 as they will aim to improve their medal tally on Day 4 in Aichi-Nagoya.

Some of the big stars like Manu Bhaker and Mirabai Chanu will be in action in their respective event with the latter looking for her first Asian Games medal. The Indian badminton men's team have confirmed a medal but will look to go beyond semifinals as they take on formidable China in the last four stage of the team event. Roshibina Devi will also look to progress to the final of her wushu event on Wednesday.

Rowing - Jaswinder Singh and Nitin Kumar finish fourth (and last) in Men's Pair heats, qualify for Final B.

Swimming - Vedaant Madhavan finishes 19th, Aneesh Sunil 17th in their men's 200m freestyle heat, out of final contention.

Rowing - Gurbani Kaur, Aleena Anto, Tendenthoi Haobijam, Poonam finish sixth overall in women's four heats, qualify for Final A.

Table tennis - Harmeet Desai-Yashaswini Ghorpade beat Mohamed Ismail-Fathimath Ali of Maldives in mixed doubles round 2 match.
