I think that's too little too late, 355 is a massive score in these conditions. But none of us expected Sri Lanka to come with that performance.

Some quality stroke play from England, especially in the second half of the innings.

Asitha Fernando finishes the innings with consecutive wicket balls.

Liam Dawson gets to face one delivery and obviously takes a bit of a swing.

Fernando's ball is a yorker and it clips Dawson's boot, taking a delivery that was probably heading down onto the base of leg stump.

The Sri Lanka seamer finishes with figures of 3-64 from nine overs, meanwhile his side with chase 356.

Jordan Cox drops into a reverse sweep stance and chases a wide-ish delivery from Eshan Malinga, stretching to lift the ball right behind wicketkeeper Kusal Mendis for four.

Jamie Overton sends Asitha Fernando's delivery out wide of mid-wicket, with Charith Asalanka running to collect.

He tries to collect with one hand but lets the ball slip through for four.

Overton struck a pair of twos of either side of that ball, one of them off an over-step no ball, before getting off strike with a single to long-off.

He sends a single out to deep square off Eshan Malinga.

More runs for Jordan Cox - a leg-side two off Sachindu Colombage brings up England's 300, while a reverse-swept four through third brings four in the later.

Cox adds a single off the final ball of the over and runs straight into Jamie Overton, almost falling over, but gets home safely to move to 48.
