PITCH AND WEATHER CONDITIONS

Weather Conditions

On matchday on July 27 in Georgetown, Guyana, expect a warm and humid day. The temperature could touch a high of around 32°C and fall to lows near about 24°C. Skies will be mostly cloudy with a high chance of scattered showers or thunderstorms.

SFU vs DV Pitch Report

The pitch at Providence Stadium is generally batting-friendly with true bounce and good pace that allows batters to play their shots confidently. The boundaries are relatively short squares, favouring aggressive stroke play and high scores. Pacers get some early movement with the new ball in humid conditions, while spinners find decent grip and turn in the middle overs.

Toss: To Bowl

The role of coin toss won't be highly effective as the game result would very much depend on which side plays the best cricket on the day. Yet, either captain would probably prefer to bowl first as it gives psychological advantage.
