Manchester United are flying right now as the Premier League’s most in-form team, but one key player has just been spotted limping.

Everything Michael Carrick has touched in the past four games has turned to gold, with consecutive brilliant performances that have revitalised an entire fanbase.

The latest of which has seen Manchester United claim a 2-0 win over Tottenham at Old Trafford, with lots of possession and two excellent goals.

This was a fourth straight win, pushing closer to Aston Villa in third, and everything is pointing toward Champions League football next season.

However, now there is an injury concern to deal with.

Bryan Mbeumo seen with a limp after Manchester United win

United’s win came courtesy of Bruno Fernandes and Bryan Mbeumo, who had scored the opening goal. This was Mbeumo’s third in four games under Carrick.

There are few players more important to Carrick, but now Mbeumo may potentially be a doubt.

Mbeumo has been one of the signings of the season, and his absence would absolutely be felt. Well, now, fans outside Old Trafford have spotted a reason to be concerned.

X account UtdKev08 posted a video of Mbeumo leaving the stadium after the win, limping heavily and appearing to favour his right knee.

This would be a big concern for Carrick, with United taking on West Ham on Tuesday night, which is a quick turnaround for a player with a knock.

There is a chance this is minor or even just a cramp, but it should be concerning nonetheless.

Mbeumo is not usually prone to injuries, but there was one moment against Spurs, which may have caused this discomfort he is clearly feeling.

Before being sent off, Cristian Romero went through Mbeumo from behind, leaving a knee into the back of Mbeumo’s right leg.

This could very well be what happened to Mbeumo and what has caused the limping, with the Cameroon forward favouring the same leg, and perhaps after the adrenaline wore off, the knock presented itself.

Romero later put in a horror tackle on Casemiro, which led to his red card, but injuring Mbeumo would be a really big blow.

Hopefully, this is nothing, but it doesn’t look good.
