Pedri and Clàudia Pina, winners of the Barça Players Award 2025

FC Barcelona players Pedri González and Clàudia Pina have been chosen winners of the Barça Players 2025 Award, a recognition that highlights not only their sporting performance, but also the attitude and values they project outside the field, such as their commitment to the Club and society, as well as their respect for the fans, referees and rivals.

The winners have been voted on by the members of the FC Barcelona Players’ Association, who have been able to choose their candidate during the last few weeks.

Second distinction for Pedri

At just 22 years old, Pedri has established himself as one of the benchmarks in the middle of the Barça field thanks to his technical quality, tactical intelligence and game vision. Beyond its football virtues, it stands out for its humble and close attitude and for its constant willingness to collaborate in social initiatives.

Since February, he has been ambassador of the Barça Genuine Foundation, a project that promotes the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities through sport. It has also shown its commitment to various social causes, especially those related to the Canary Islands.

In addition, he has been seen fleeing controversy and quarrels in matches and trying to put the ball back into play as quickly as possible and having details on different occasions with Barça fans.

This is the second time that Pedri receives this award, after being recognized also in 2022.

Clàudia Pina's debut

The forward Clàudia Pina receives for the first time the Barça Players Award, in recognition of her ambition, dedication and leadership on the pitch. The player from Montcada i Reixac, beyond her talent and thrilling olfactory, is especially valued for her humility, personal demand and social involvement.

She has collaborated with various charitable associations and has participated in solidarity events, both with the Barça Foundation and with other entities in the territory.

With this recognition, Pina takes over from Aitana Bonmatí, winner of the last four editions of the award.

The award ceremony will take place in an institutional event that will take place in the coming weeks.
