Alexandra “Alex” Eala is set to return to competition, this time at the Guangzhou Open in China.

Currently ranked world No. 53, Eala will compete in both the singles and doubles events of the WTA 250 tournament.

In doubles, she is partnering with Nadiia Kichenok of Ukraine.

The 20-year-old Filipina tennis ace last played at the Japan Women’s Open, where she fell in the first round to eventual finalist Tereza Valentova.
