Yells at me, calls me the ‘C’ word. Storm out the door and I just say I’m going to release the episode,” Menczel says.“There’s no way I’m going to sit on this apart from the fact that he was yelling at me to release the episode. And you think the way he was carrying on, he’d (be) begging me not to release it.“Then he was saying for me to bleep out Sonny Bill Williams’ name because no one can hear the ex-footballer’s name. What an absolute muppet he is.“So he leaves, I release it and look, I was fine. I don’t mind being called those things. I’m no shrinking violet.“Anyone that’s listened to this show knows I can take a punch. I can give a punch. People were checking in with me about my mental health. I’m doing fine.“One thing about that though that I didn’t like is the bullying. His attempt to bully me or bully anyone because that’s not good to listen to. It’s not good to watch, it doesn’t set a good example.“So I find that stuff quite onerous. I don’t mind arguing with someone, and on the show, I did try take on board his point of view.“But he wasn’t having any of it, and he had this meltdown, which was immature, and it was bullying. It wasn’t arguing, it wasn’t fun to listen to.”Menczel says he has had no semblance of an apology from MacGill before delivering a shot at the former cricketer’s past.“There’s been no even hint of an apology towards me for the way he acted. There’s been no regret. That is worrying for me because he’s a ticking time bomb,” he said.“I can bring him back into the podcast but I guarantee I’m not going to sit on my hands anymore, Stu. So when you come back in, I’m telling you there’s a car-boot full of stuff that I can bring up if you want to keep calling me words.“So I’ll be very careful about that because things actually could kick off if he doesn’t watch it. It’s not going to be one-way traffic forever. Anybody that listens to the show for the last month knows I’ve handled him very gently.“When something’s off the pace, I move on. I’m very nice to him but the way he treated me that means he’s going to get some of it back. I don’t know if the podcast is able to continue in that way.“I don’t want to be fighting with someone. I don’t want to be punched in the face and let’s be honest, that meltdown was unhinged and insane. He started twitching like he was going to punch me.”MacGill’s outburst came after Menczel discussed the treatment of Candice Warner by South African fans during Australia’s ill-fated 2018 tour.He took issue with the topic being brought up at all and proceeded to berate his co-host in a three-minute tirade.MacGill called Menczel a “muppet”, a “f***ing idiot” and a “moron” in an epic rant, before Menczel decided to bring the episode to an end.Read the full transcript of Stuart MacGill’s below and watch it aboveAndrew Menczel: “I do think the sexist treatment of Candice Warner by the South African crowds went way over the line. Going in with Sonny Bill Williams masks to try and taunt Warner is low. That is low behaviour. It’s targeting his wife, which I think is pretty poor, and they can go pretty low.”Stuart MacGill: “Well I think it’s pretty low talking about it for starters, Menners. I think you didn’t need to go into details there. I think that’s s***. You’re a f***ing idiot. You shouldn’t go into details about things like this because you’re doing exactly the same as the crowd. OK.”AM: “No, not really.”SM: “No, no you are. Listen to me now! You’ve raised exactly the same issues, you’re saying the same thing that they did. And that is s***. So we’re not going to talk about that anymore. If we’re going to talk about issues to do with one particular player, we can say they’ve talked about personal issues relating to that player.”AM: “No, that’s fair.”SM: “No, I’m right, mate.”AM: “I said that’s fair.”SM: “It is fair. Menners, Menners, what I want you to do right this minute, because otherwise this is going to be a very, very short-lived relationship, you need to respect players and their families a lot more than you do at the moment.”AM: “I do respect them … I felt sorry for her.”SM: “Listen mate, listen. She’s a friend of mine as well. Listen, I feel sorry for you because you’re obviously so pig-headed because you do not realise you said exactly the same thing as the South African crowd. Exactly the same.”AM: “I didn’t bring anything up. I didn’t go into details.”SM: “You are a moron. Continue. Next topic.”AM: “Alright next topic, fair enough.”SM: “And if you cut that out, it’s the last time I ever work with you.AM: “I won’t cut it out at all, I’ll leave it in. I just think you’re missing the point. You’re missing what I’m trying to say.”SM: “Move on. Move on. Move on. Move on. Move on. Listen, you muppet. When I say move on, I’m not saying keep talking about something.”AM: “It’s my show too, I can keep talking.”SM: “Go on, keep talking.”AM: “I will keep talking.”SM: “Go on, keep talking.”AM: “Nah, I want to move on.”SM: “Good.”AM: “It’s a good blow up … you look really upset?”SM: “I am upset with you. Move on.”AM: “OK, if you don’t want to talk about it, that’s fine.”SM: “You’re a joke mate. Move on, move on.”AM: “You seem very irritable.”SM: “I may jump across the mic at any second.”AM: “Just watch your knee … actually you know what, that’s it for this episode. Thanks for joining us.”SM: “You sure? Cool. That’s great.”
