He was caught by Irfan Umair off Musheer Khan at the square-leg boundary in the 74th over. Following the wicket, Musheer reportedly sledged Shaw with a “Thank you,” which seemingly provoked the batter. Having just completed a magnificent century, Shaw is believed to have taken offence at the remark, sparking the confrontation.
