Arsenal want a minimum of three signings this summer - a left-sided forward, a midfielder and a right-back.

That's according to The Athletic's David Ornstein, who is known for his strong Arsenal sources.

Speaking to TNT Sports, Ornstein said: "They know the need to improve at that top end. The No.9 position is interesting.

"The left-sided attack is a big priority for them. They've been looking at it for a few years. This may be the summer where they really do go for something. They've got the options.

"They want a No.6/8 midfielder, they want to strengthen at right-back as well.

"You could see that outlay from last summer repeated or even exceeded."

According to our sister title the Daily Mirror, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is planning a bid for Aston Villa attacker Morgan Rogers.

Arteta wants to build on the Gunners' Premier League title and said after the Champions League final loss to PSG that the club must show "ambition" to go to "another level".

Rogers is top of the Spaniard's shortlist because he can play as a No.10 and as a left-sided winger.

PSG are also mentioned as a team interested in the 23-year-old England international.

Fabrizio Romano claims Curtis Jones is still ready to leave Liverpool despite the sacking of Arne Slot.

The England midfielder was a bit-part player under the Dutchman and was utilised in various positions across the second half of the season.

And Romano said on his YouTube channel: "Inter remain interested in Curtis Jones. Curtis Jones is totally open to Inter.

"He would like to have this experience in Italy at Inter, a bit like [Scott] McTominay [at Napoli], who arrived from the Premier League maybe not as a superstar.

"Maybe in Italy he can become one."

AC Milan winger Rafael Leao has been linked with a switch to Manchester United - and the winger has just confirmed he wants to move this summer.

Portuguese forward Leao has scored 80 goals and provided 55 assists in 291 appearances across all competitions since joining Milan in 2019.

And he said: "Everyone has ambitions and I dream of a new challenge in a new league.

"If that happens, I'll be very happy and fulfilled because I did my job at AC Milan.

"The most important thing now is the World Cup and helping the national team in any way I can.

"When the time comes, I'll look at the best options to continue my career and keep competing at the top of European football."
