Arsenal will also be hoping to strengthen their ranks as they prepare to defend their Premier League title when club football resumes. Liverpool, meanwhile, completed their first summer signing earlier this week by hijacking Newcastle's move for Victor Munoz, who has joined the Reds in a £34.5million deal.
