2026 Australian Open: Naomi Osaka goes viral with court entry walk-on outfit

Naomi Osaka hit the headlines at the 2026 Australian Open, before her opening round singles match had even begun.

The Japanese tennis star was all style as she entered the Rod Laver Arena for the clash with Antonia Ružić Tuesday (20 January), wearing a large hat, veil, and carrying an parasol umbrella.

16th seed Osaka's walk-on instantly went viral on social media. Organisers AO called it "her most iconic walk on yet".

The player, who has chosen outfit themes for Grand Slams, posted on her social accounts "Pick up the phone, it's jellyfish season".
