Toby Collyer has already attracted Premier League interest as Man Utd open doors to permanent sale

Manchester United are ready to sell Toby Collyer permanently this summer.

Toby Collyer was left out of Manchester United’s travelling squad for the recent 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid in pre-season.

Now, according to The Sun, United have told Collyer that he can leave the club permanently during this summer’s transfer window.

Collyer is the latest academy player to be told he can leave, with United ready to sell Harry Amass too. The good news for Collyer, is that there is already one Premier League club who has shown interest.

Hull City’s interest in Toby Collyer

Collyer spent the 2025/26 season on loan at Hull City in the Championship, and he played a key role in their promotion to the Premier League.

During his time on loan, Collyer said he wants to play Premier League football whether that’s with or without United.

Hull are preparing for their first season in the top flight since 2016/17, and they have already made it clear that they would like to bring Collyer back.

Manager Sergej Jakirovic was a big admirer of Collyer, and reports from the Daily Mail claim that Hull held talks this summer about re-signing the Carrington graduate.

Now that United have made it clear that Collyer is for sale, Hull have been given the green light to come back in for the 22-year-old.

Incredibly, Hull City owner Acun Ilicali on X posted about the club’s transfer plans and the likelihood of more signings being done this summer.

The Sun report adds that there is interest in Collyer from Championship clubs, but the midfielder would surely want to achieve his goal of playing regular Premier League football again.
