Arsenal have made an official bid for Bruno Guimaraes as Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham also look to secure some huge signings in a busy final month to the summer window. Guimaraes was potentially expected to undergo a medical today with a move worth around £80million close to being agreed, though the player is joining up with the Newcastle squad at their pre-season training camp in Spain. Brazil team-mate Vinicius Jr has also reported back to Real Madrid as Arsenal target another blockbuster transfer.

Manchester United are pushing to recruit Lewis Hall and also pursuing a deal for Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly, whose future could be impacted by Guimaraes’ likely arrival at the Emirates Stadium. Hall has reportedly rejected a return to Chelsea, who are making progress over Pep Chavarria after signing Valentin Barco and still eyeing Alex Scott amid shock Arsenal and Barcelona links to Joao Pedro, who is set to be handed a new contract. Liverpool are preparing a fresh offer for Bradley Barcola, while they could sell Tottenham target Cody Gakpo.

Spurs are said to have made a surprise approach for Victor Osimhen as they target Gakpo and Savinho, while Manchester City are lining up a deal for Chelsea winger Pedro Neto. Follow the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!
