Lleyton and Bec Hewitt’s $14m home for sale

Tennis parents Lleyton and Bec Hewitt have relisted their luxury Glenhaven home with $14m hopes, having briefly delisted it while on the European tennis circuit with son Cruz.

Their six-bedroom, four-bathroom home – complete with a top-notch tennis court – is being marketed through Gavin Weekley and Josh McAdam from Guardian Realty.

The high-profile couple have decided to sell due to the lack of time being spent there.

The move comes just months after talk after the rumours Bec and Lleyton Hewitt would live in separate countries.

The home was initially listed back in June – with price hopes of around $14m.

It’s an impressive six-bedroom, four-bathroom home in the Hills District in Sydney’s northwest – and yes it does come with a tennis court.

The family paid $10.3m for the home in 2023.

The Hewitts have shifted their family focus overseas to travel with and coach son Cruz on the ATP tour. They have reportedly been considering Florida or the Bahamas as a base.

Cruz reached the boys singles final at the Wimbledon Juniors Championship in London earlier this year.

He said then, he felt ‘at home’ at Wimbledon.

“This is definitely such a home feeling,” Cruz told media.

“When my dad played, we were here for a while, and I was always at the tennis.

“I wanted to watch all the matches, just be around all the Aussie players as well, and I was fortunate enough to be here from such a young age.

“My dad does help me a lot.

“He’s in my corner. He’s coaching a little bit, but he’s also just there for support. And every time I look over at him, he’s showing me positivity. So that gets me up and about as well. And I use that the best I can.

“I think he’s pretty proud. I’m pretty happy. I think he’s happy with how far I’ve come with my mentality, my game style, and yeah, he was pretty happy.”

Meanwhile, Bec, who turns 43 in a few weeks, has reconciled herself to extended periods apart from Lleyton.Her focus remains firmly on Mia and Ava, who are carving out their own careers, meaning the couple are now looking for a base closer to the Sydney CBD.

Last year, the Hewitts offloaded their luxury Gold Coast home for $4.9m.

If the family has secure the price they are after, for their Hills Shire home it could meant a property portfolio windfall of around $20m, all up.
