Table Tennis, Men's Team: Manush Shah in lead

It is Manush Shah vs Affan Pratama in the third match of India’s Group F tie against Indonesia.

Manush trailed 3-6 in the opening game but turned things around to win 11-9.

The second game followed a similar script. Pratama raced to a 6-1 lead and was ahead 9-7, but Manush produced a late surge, winning four points on the trot to take the game 11-9 and move 2-0 ahead.

Manav Thakkar pulled off a thrilling decider to beat Muhammad Junindra 3-2 (11-7, 8-11, 11-6, 6-11, 11-8).

The World No. 48 made a strong start in the decider, racing to a 5-1 lead, but Junindra fought back to level at 7-all. Manav held his nerve from there to close out the game 11-8.

India now lead Indonesia 2-0 in their Group F team match.

Manav Thakkar turned it around in the third game after briefly trailing 4-5, racing to a 10-5 lead before closing it out 11-6.

But Muhammad Junindra hit back in the fourth, maintaining at least a three-point cushion from the start. Manav tried to narrow the gap but eventually went down 6-11.

The match is now headed into the decider, with the score tied at 2-all.

Shooting, 10m Air Rifle Women's Qualification: Silver for Indian team; Sonam & Elavenil into final

Indian women's team of Elavenil Valarivan, Sonam Maskar and Vidarsa Vinod bagged the silver medal in the 10m air rifle women's team.

The team scored a total of 1898, finishing second just behind the Chinese team's 1904.2. Meanwhile, Japan won the bronze medal with 1897.1

Sonam (634.1) and Elavenil (633.5) also progressed to the individual final, and Vidarsa (630.4) finished in 12th place. The final is set to take place at 11:00 AM IST.

There's the inevitable. India fell just short of their 22-0 win record, but in what is their first ever clash against Uzbekistan they've scored 19 goals!

Deepika Sehrawat was the absolute star of the show for India, pumping 8 goals. It is the most a woman has scored in a hockey match ever!
