Taylor Swift Attends Her First Chiefs Game as a Married WAG

As much as it pained us to miss her on the 2026 Emmy Awards red carpet, it turns out Taylor Swift had a pretty good reason for skipping the ceremony: She had to support her husband (!) at his NFL game! Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are back on the field for the start of the football season, and today, they went up against the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

Another star who skipped the starry carpet for the stadium seats? Tom Cruise, who sat next to Swift and chatted it up during the game. For the occasion, Swift dressed herself in Chiefs red, which of course went perfectly with her signature red lip.

This marks Swift's first appearance at a Chiefs game since she married Kelce—as it's the team's first game of the year.

As fans well know, the superstar and the NFL tight end said "I do" on July 3, in a larger-than-life ceremony held at New York City's Madison Square Garden.

Today, while the "I Knew it, I Knew You" singer physically missed the Emmys, she did make a cameo in a pre-recorded skit that was aired during a show break. In it, ceremony host Mariska Hargitay retook her iconic role as Law & Order police captain Olivia Benson to investigate one big, important question: Would Swift be showing up to the 2026 Emmys?

Now we know the answer, as well as exactly where to find the pop singer—or shall we say, committed WAG.
