That’s the end of the opening day of this warm-up fixture. Plenty of runs on offer, and the Sri Lankan batters made full use of it. Indian bowlers had to toil hard with the pitch lacking any movement.

Ravindra Jadeja, Manav Suthar and Kuldeep Yadav picked two wickets each while Gurnoor Brar picked one. The first Sri Lankan wicket fell off a run out.
