Manchester United vs Atletico player ratings as Michael Carrick’s men beat the Spanish side 2-1 to win the Snapdragon Cup.

A fast start to the game by Man Utd was undone in the fifth minute when Ortiz’s speculative cross evaded everybody and nestled into the far corner to give Atletico a 1-0 lead.

United were finally rewarded in the second half when Shea Lacey’s tricky feet won a penalty, converted by Bryan Mbeumo.

Mbeumo was at it again, as Jack Fletcher stole the ball and crossed for him to give United a well-deserved lead which turned out to be the winner.

Was caught outside his goal once but wasn’t punished. Helpless for the goal but doesn’t look great.
