ICC has announced the cricketers included in the 'Player of the Month' race for July. In the men's category, England captain Harry Brook, West Indies all-rounder Justin Greaves, and Bangladesh opener Tanzid Hasan have been shortlisted.

In the women's category, England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt, Sri Lanka's star batter Harshitha Samarawickrama, and West Indies captain Hayley Matthews have been shortlisted.

Men's Category Nominees:

Harry Brook (England)- The England captain performed brilliantly in T20s. He scored 229 runs in 5 matches against India at an average of 114.50 and a strike rate of 214.01. He was the top run-scorer of the series and was also chosen as the Player of the Series.

Justin Greaves (West Indies)- Greaves displayed an all-round performance in Tests and ODIs against Sri Lanka and Pakistan. In response to Sri Lanka's score of 549/9 in the second Test, he played an innings of 180 runs to draw the match. In the two Test matches played in July, he scored 215 runs at an average of 71.66 and also took 8 wickets.

Tanzid Hasan (Bangladesh)- On the Zimbabwe tour, Tanzid was Bangladesh's most consistent batsman. He scored 159 runs at an average of 53 in the ODI series. He also added 140 runs at an average of 70 in the T20 series. He scored the most runs on the tour.

Women's Category Contenders:

Nat Sciver-Brunt (England)- Under Brunt's captaincy, England reached the final of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup. She played a match-winning innings of 75 runs off 47 balls in the semi-final against South Africa. After this, she also scored an unbeaten 58 runs in the final against Australia.

Harshitha Samarawickrama (Sri Lanka)- Harshitha played a big role in winning the ODI series against Pakistan. After failing in the first match, she scored 100 runs in the second ODI and an unbeaten 71 runs in the decisive third match. She scored 173 runs in the series and was chosen as Player of the Series.

Hayley Matthews (West Indies)- The West Indies captain led her team to a 3-0 ODI series victory against Ireland. She took 3 wickets for 52 runs and played a record innings of an unbeaten 159 runs in the first ODI. In the second ODI, she also scored 100 runs and took 2 wickets.

Voting Academy: 90% of the decision will be in the hands of an independent voting academy, which includes former players, journalists, and broadcasters from around the world.

Results: The winners will be announced next week on ICC's digital platforms.
