It’s been a sluggish two weeks for The DFS Must Starts, but I think we can get back on track this week in Week 8.Last week’s list had some productive players but the pricing limited putting the right combinations together for a big week. Even though DraftKings pricing continues to squeeze us on deciding among the top players, there is enough value this week to build deep solid lineups. And that is the beauty of DFS compared to regular fantasy football – it’s a new group every week.Let’s get into this week’s top plays!QB DFS Must StartsJalen Hurts, Philadelphia ($6,600, 12.7 percent rostered)Hurts finally busted out his passing slump this season with his first 300-yard passing game since Week 3 last season. He threw for 326 yards and three touchdowns in the Eagles’ road win at Minnesota. Now he faces a New York Giants unit that is giving 21.7 DraftKings points to QBs this season.Plus, there is the revenge factor after the Giants upset the Eagles in NYC two weeks ago.Chalky Play: Bo Nix, Denver ($6,000, 14.4 percent rostered)Value Play: Michael Penix Jr., Atlanta ($4,900, 4.8 percent rostered)RB DFS Must StatsBijan Robinson, Atlanta ($8,800, 22.9 percent rostered)Of the big three RBs in DFS, Robinson is the best value compared to Indianapolis’ Jonathan Taylor ($9,500) and San Francisco’s Christian McCaffrey ($9,000) this week. Now don’t get me wrong, I will have all three in a lineup or two as they are all great plays for the Main Slate.Plus, Robinson may finally have the Falcons’ backfield all to himself for a game as Tyler Allgeier ($4,800) may miss the game with a hip/knee injury. Then there’s the Miami run defense. It’s really bad, and by really bad, I mean the unit has given the most rushing yards (898 yards) on the season in the NFL, giving up 159.3 yards a game.Chalky Play: Rachaad White, Tampa Bay ($6,400, 23.6 percent rostered)Value Play: Woody Marks, Houston ($5,100, 5.9 percent rostered)WR DFS Must StartsDevonta Smith, Philadelphia ($5,900, 17.6 percent rostered)Since I’m playing Hurts, Smith makes perfect sense as a bring back with the Eagles QB.A.J. Brown is missing the game with a hamstring injury, pushing Smith in the team’s WR1 role vs. a Giants pass defense giving up 266.0 passing yards a game on the road. But Smith is not just a add in piece as he’s coming a career-high 183 receiving yards against the Vikings and had 9 catches on 11 targets and a touchdown.Chalky Play: Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati ($8,100, 23.5 percent rostered)Value Play: Tez Johnson, Tampa Bay ($4,300, 6.5 percent rostered)TE DFS Must StartsTyler Warren, Indianapolis ($5,500, 6.2 percent rostered)Warren has been a beast during his rookie campaign as the former Penn State standout has scored double-digit DK points in 6 of 7 weeks this season. And his price DraftKings continues to rise, and you shouldn’t be scared to put him in a lineup or two against a Tennessee that has played well against TEs this season.Warren has averaged 6.4 targets a game this season and he’s hauled in 73 percent of those targets.Chalky Play: Dalton Schultz, Houston ($3,300, 13 percent rostered)Value Play: Daniel Bellinger, New York Giants ($2,700, 0.9 percent rostered)DST PlaysIndianapolis ($3,800, 5.9 percent rostered) home against TennesseeHouston ($3,000, 5.7 percent rostered) home against San FranciscoNew Orleans ($2,300, 5 percent rostered) home against Tampa BayNow is the time to join our team here at Blitz Sports Media!
