Dinesh Chandimal has been ruled out of the ongoing Galle Test with concussion. Pasindu Sooriyabandara has been named as his concussion substitute.Chadimal had to the leave the field after sustaining an injury to his right shoulder and neck. The incident occurred at the end of the fourth over of the fourth day's play of the ongoing Galle Test against India when Chandimal dived and landed awkwardly while attempting to save a boundary.The 36-year-old appeared to be in immediate discomfort, clutching his neck region while remaining on the ground.A statement from Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) confirmed that he was assessed by the team physiotherapist and doctor on the ground before being taken to hospital for a precautionary scans. There were no signs of internal injury.Chandimal, 36, was dismissed for 4 in the first innings as the hosts conceded a big 178-run lead to India and face a tall fourth innings chase.
