‘My blood is boiling’ - Bayern Munich boss Vincent Kompany fuming over Jamal Musiala injury

0
Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany entered the locker room after the first half of his team’s 2-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain furious — but not at his players, but because of the injury to Jamal Musiala right before the whistle blew.

“I’ve rarely been so angry at half time, not against my players - I know there are much more important things in life, but for these guys it’s their life. Someone like Jamal lives for this. He just came back from a setback and now this happens. You feel powerless. My blood is still boiling right now, not because of the result, that’s football. But because it happened to someone that enjoys the game so much,” said Kompany (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

The play that caused the injury has been criticized given how PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma made an aggressive play toward Musiala, which left the attacker prone. The end result, of course, looks like a serious injury to Musiala and a major blow to Bayern Munich’s 2025/26 season.
