ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026: Squad, fixtures and results

Women’s team sport is undergoing a revolution. In 2025, the Lionesses became back-to-back Euros champions, and the Red Roses lifted the World Cup trophy in front of a record 81,885 fans at Twickenham.

Now, England’s female cricketers have the chance to add to that incredible legacy, with the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup coming to England and Wales this summer. As they take their place on the world stage, thousands of girls will see someone like them at the top of cricket and know they belong.

But despite this progress, things on the ground are slow to change. In England, 24% fewer girls than boys play team sport. That means almost one million girls are missing out on the joy, camaraderie and belonging that team sport can bring.

This summer, women’s sport is back on our screens – and we need your help to make it more than a moment.

When is the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026?

The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup runs from 12 June to 5 July 2026 across England and Wales, with the final taking place at Lord’s.

The tournament concludes at Lord’s, nearly a decade after England’s unforgettable 2017 World Cup win at the iconic ground.

Sky Sports will make all 12 group matches involving England, Scotland and Ireland, as well as the semi-finals and final of the 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup available for free via the Sky Sports App.

The BBC will also deliver every ball of the World Cup across radio and its digital platforms, including Radio 5 Live and Radio 5 Sports Extra.
