The Women's Cricket World Cup, the premier tournament in the ODI format, features some of the finest players and bowlers from across the globe.

Numerous bowlers have already made their presence felt in the ongoing edition of the World Cup.

Sri Lanka’s Inoka Ranaweera registered the first four-fer of the Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 in the opening match of the tournament against India. She finished with figures of 4/46 from nine overs.

England’s Sophie Ecclestone finished as the leading wicket-taker in the last edition of the Women’s ODI World Cup in 2022 after claiming 21 scalps in nine innings at an average of 15.61.

Rosalind Heggs, who played for the Young England team, finished as the top wicket-taker with 12 scalps in the inaugural edition of the Women’s ODI World Cup in 1973 when two English teams participated - the senior side and a younger team.

Former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami, who holds the record for most wickets in the women’s 50-over format with 255 scalps, is also the top wicket-taker in ODI World Cup history with 43 dismissals to her name.
