In a video shared by the Aussie cricket great on Instagram on Friday night, Lana nailed a hole-in-one on the prestigious Emirates Golf Club course.

“I can’t believe this,” Lee said while filming their approach to retrieve the ball from the cup.

“Her first game of golf and she’s absolutely... what have you done.”

Lana responded: “I got a hole in one”.

It was a fitting way for the couple to begin their new life in the United Arab Emirates.

Lee earlier confirmed the couple had made the decision to leave Australia in an Instagram post with a photo that showed him posing in front of Dubai’s skyline.

“What began as a few trips for work has grown into something much bigger... Dubai is now home,” he posted.

“New opportunities, great people, plenty of family time and a lifestyle that’s pretty hard to beat. We’ve honestly loved every minute of it.

“The kids are thriving, the schools are fantastic, sport is everywhere, and it’s the people you meet along the way that really make it.

“We’ll always be proud to call Australia home and I’m so grateful for the life we’ve built there. That will never change.

“But there’s just something about Dubai. The energy, the ambition, the way anything feels possible.

“It’s only been a short time, but we’re really proud to call this place home for our next chapter.

“If you’ve ever thought about coming here, even just once, I promise you it won’t disappoint.

“Grateful for what’s been and excited for what’s ahead.”

Lee’s golfing adventures included a moment playing with Northern Irish professional golfer Tom McKibbin.

A photo shared by the 49-year-old last month showed him and son Preston with their arms wrapped around the DP World Tour winner’s shoulders.

Lee, who finished his career with 310 Test wickets, this week shared a video on Instagram promoting a Dubai-based real estate development company.

The New South Welshman left Australia after completing his duties as a cricket commentator with Fox Cricket and Kayo Sport during this summer’s Ashes series.

Lee was a core piece of the commentary team that helped Fox Cricket reach record viewership numbers.
