Kylian Mbappe has given his thoughts on this season's Premier League title race and he has high hopes for one team.Liverpool have made the perfect start to the defence of their crown with three wins from three matches, the latest against last title rivals Arsenal. The Reds won it at a canter last time around and took a two point lead into the international break. And Real Madrid star Mbappe admits they have to be considered frontrunners but still thinks this could be Arsenal's year.He told Bild: 'of course, Liverpool has to be mentioned first and foremost, as they're determined to win one title after another.'But I also have high hopes for Arsenal, because the core of the team has known each other for a long time, and that's a crucial factor in football.'And Manchester City is always at the forefront anyway, with Pep Guardiola and Erling Haaland.Asked for a definite answer, he replied: 'that's tough. Maybe Arsenal, maybe it will be their year. It would certainly be easier to say City or Liverpool.'Mbappe knows this Arsenal team well after last season's memorable Champions League quarter-final showdown. The Gunners claimed an emphatic 3-0 victory in the first leg at the Emirates with Declan Rice scoring two stunning free-kicks.And they completed the job with a 2-1 win at the Bernabeu, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli on the scoresheet.Mbappe was also asked for his prediction with regards to this season's Champions League.'I always say Real Madrid. But there are many good teams in Europe, a lot. We saw that last year was great with the new Champions League format.'This year will be even better. It will be interesting to see who prevails in the end.'The Frenchman has never won Europe's biggest prize and watched his former club PSG claim it last term immediately after his departure.
