Pakistan star batter has returned to training after recovering from injury and is likely to feature in the second Test against the Bangladesh national cricket team.Babar took part in batting drills at the Bangladesh Cricket Board Academy in Dhaka under the supervision of batting coach Asad Shafiq. The training session was also attended by the team trainer and physiotherapist as the batter continued his recovery process.The right-hander appeared comfortable during practice and also completed running exercises between the wickets without any signs of discomfort. He had missed the opening Test of the series due to a knee injury but is now expected to be available for the second match in Sylhet.Meanwhile, Bangladesh strengthened their position in the first Test at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium after ending day four with a lead of 179 runs.The hosts recovered well after losing both openers early in their second innings. Mohammad Abbas dismissed Mahmudul Hasan Joy for five, while Hasan Ali removed Shadman Islam for 10 to give Pakistan an encouraging start.However, experienced batter and captain rebuilt the innings with a composed partnership, frustrating Pakistan’s bowlers and extending Bangladesh’s advantage.
