NY Giants news: Arvell Reese, John Harbaugh, sputtering offense

They smile, or even chuckle, at the mere mention of No. 52.

A star is being born at Camp Harbaugh and his name is Arvell Reese.

The prized rookie was the best player on the field on a penalty-filled day under a drenching rain when the pads came on for the first time.

He was everywhere … in the backfield for a sack against left tackle Andrew Thomas, for a TFL, and on a couple of other occasions when he looked like a human magnet tracking device.

On both sides of the ball, they are gushing about Arvell Reese.

“No. 52 — that boy!” Tyrone Tracy Jr. said. “He’s big, strong, physical. He’s a great football player.

“Arvell is See Ball, Get Ball.

“I think that’s the best way to describe him: See Ball, Get Ball. He’s gonna run fast, he’s gonna hit hard and he’s gonna be around the ball at all times.”
