League One: Stockport County 1-0 Blackpool

After doing the league double over Blackpool last season, Stockport County will be looking to win three in succession against the Tangerines in the Football League for just the third time after November 1925 and September 1995.

Blackpool could lose on successive Football League trips to Stockport County for the first time since April 1995 after losing this fixture 2-1 last season.

Only Birmingham City (22) have won more league games in England’s top four tiers in 2025 than Stockport County (20), including 12 of their last 19 league matches (D5 L2).

With just eight points through their opening 11 League One games this season, Blackpool have made their worst start to a third-tier campaign since 2006-07 (also 8 points) - during that season they were eventually promoted, however.
