Shanghai Masters: Injury hampered Novak Djokovic beaten by qualifier Valentin Vacherot

Novak Djokovic gave his all but could not find his way through to the final of the 2025 Shanghai Masters.

The men's singles tennis Olympics gold medallist was beaten in the semi-finals of the ATP Masters 1000 tournament by world No. 204 Valentin Vacherot 6-3, 6-4 on Saturday (11 October).

From being an alternate to making it through qualifiers, Monégasque Vacherot books his place in the Shanghai Masters final on Sunday (12 October), where he will take on either Daniil Medvedev or his cousin, Arthur Rinderknech.
