Trabzonspor president Ertugrul Dogan has given an update on a potential move for Manchester United goalkeeper Andre OnanaTrabzonspor president Ertugrul Dogan claims they have already met Andre Onana's financial demands amid ongoing speculation about his future at Manchester United. The Cameroon international spent last season on loan with the Turkish Super Lig club, helping them qualify for the Europa League.Reports claim Onana wants to return to Old Trafford and challenge Senne Lammens for the number one spot, but the young Belgian impressed last season and made the spot his own. The Turkish club are keen on making Onana's move a permanent one, while fellow Super Lig side Besiktas are said to be keen on hijacking the move.Although United have not yet agreed a transfer fee with the Turkish side, Dogan claims there won't be any problems in agreeing terms with the goalkeeper. Onana won the Turkish Cup with Trabzonspor and is a fan favourite after his spell in Turkey.Get MEN Premium now for just £1 HERE – or get involved in our United WhatsApp group by clicking HERE. We’ve met his financial demands."The fans like him too. He’s a decent bloke. I don’t think we’ll have any problems. I don’t think he’ll find the same level of interest in him anywhere else. So I think he’ll stay with the team."United need to sell Onana for around £20million in order to avoid a loss under the Premier League's Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR).Speaking last week, Doğan wanted to reach an agreement 'in the coming days' and told HT Spor: "As we said, we're trying to act quickly. We're adding these players to our squad one by one."Transfers will continue in the coming days. We were thinking of 5-6 transfers, but it looks like we'll go to a higher number."Get the latest World Cup news straight to your inbox by signing up to our Make Football Great Again newsletter now! When asked about Onana specifically, he said: "We speak with Andre Onana almost every day. He loves it here."We want him to stay, but of course everyone has their own life and plans. We have to respect that."I don't think we'll have any problems in the coming days. But if we do, the management will do what's necessary. We'll find another goalkeeper of the same quality."
