Once seen as one of India’s most promising and god-gifted cricketers, Vinod Kambli had a speedy rise which promised world-records and greatness. There was a time when Kambli and Sachin Tendulkar were inseparable, the two being childhood friends. Kambli won the hearts of millions globally in the early 1990s with some remarkable and memorable performances. In Test cricket, he scored 1,084 runs in just 17 matches, which is an outstanding feat. He is also among the fastest Indian batsmen to reach 1,000 Test runs.

His private residence is located in a housing society called “Jewel Tower” in Bandra West, Mumbai.
