Anthony Edwards Reveals His Realistic Scenario Of Joining NFL

NBA superstar Anthony Edwards made a surprising comment about a realistic scenario that could see him leaving the league for the NFL. “I’m trying to find a way to get a ring. Once I get one, that would be cool. I’ll go play football, especially if I get one while I’m still young. If I get one before I turn 30, I’m definitely gon’ try to play football. I’d probably play receiver. I might try to go QB, probably backup QB, because I don’t really have to play unless the starter gets hurt.”

The comment from Edwards made it clear that winning an NBA Championship is the most important thing in his career. Edwards winning a ring at a young age and still having the chance to try football are linked together here. Edwards ditched football to give basketball his full attention since it was his best overall sport. The teen status of being a “four-star recruit” showed NBA potential at a young age. Edwards continued excelling at basketball and became one of the top prospects to eventually get selected first overall in the NBA Draft. However, the confidence of Edwards makes it clear he believes he could have made the NFL too.
