Video of Novak Djokovic, Wife Jelena Is Turning Heads at US Open

Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic (No. 7) faces off against American Taylor Fritz (No. 4) in the quarterfinals of the 2025 U.S. Open on September 2.

Djokovic is 10-0 against Fritz in his historic career and hopes to make it 11-0 on Tuesday night. Cheering on the 24-time Grand Slam champion, Djokovic’s wife, Jelena Djokovic. The longtime couple met as teenagers and tied the knot in 2014.

They share two children together, Stefan and Tara. During an appearance on the Jay Shetty Podcast last week, the 38-year-old made it clear he’s still madly in love with Jelena.

“We’ve gone through difference phases and stages. Basically, she’s the only very serious relationship that I’ve ever had. She’s my rock.

“She’s someone that has seen the worst and the best sides of me. She has seen my evolution. She has challenged me on every level. We have grown together, and we have two beautiful children, and we still keep on growing and evolving.”

“We have challenges as every couple, but we have an amazing base and foundation. When we have challenging times in the relationship, we revert to that… the future that we see is the future that we see together.”

“She’s probably the only one in my life, other than my brothers or my one or two friends, that is able to tell me the things that I maybe don’t want to hear. Challenge my ideas, thoughts, and decisions.

“She has been an incredible partner in this whole journey, professionally, privately, emotionally, romantically, as a parent as well,” he continued. “So I still play at this level because also of the support that she’s giving to our family back home. And I remind myself of that a lot.”

Jelena Djokovic Celebrated Her Husband’s US Open Win With an Epic Dance Video

Jelena, who’s garnered 819,000 followers on Instagram, doesn’t post a ton on social media. However, she couldn’t let her husband’s dominating win over Jan-Lennard Struff go without a celebration.

She posted a video of the couple dancing to “Uptown Funk” on the streets in New York City and wrote, “64 Slam quarters and counting… 🥹 Don’t believe me, just watch 😎😜 #GOATmode #proudwife #usopen2025🎾.”

The video racked up over 50,000 likes on Instagram. One fan commented, “I love this! ❤️‍🔥 You guys deserve all the happiness in the world! Keep shining beautiful people ✨💞.” Another person wrote, “Smiling from ear to ear..Thank you Jelena for being a backbone all these years. 🥂 to many more achievements together.”

Djokovic defeated Struff in the fourth-round match on Sunday, 6-3, 6-3, 6-2 to reach his 64th Grand Slam quarterfinal. For the ninth time in his career, he’s reached the quarterfinals at every major, “breaking a tie with Roger Federer for the most of any man or woman in the Open era,” ESPN reported.

Djokovic, who won the gold medal at 2024 Paris Olympics, continues to prove that age is just a number. At age 38, he’s the oldest player to reach the U.S. Open quarterfinals since Jimmy Connors’ run at age 39 in 1991.

His opponent, Fritz, 27, is hoping to get a boost from the home crowd at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York. “It can be a good thing for me. Hopefully, the crowd is really going to get behind me now because I’m the last guy,” Fritz said of being the lone American still in competition.
