The summer window has taken another huge twist as Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham all work to get deals done before the transfer deadline. The Gunners have been given hope in their pursuit of Bradley Barcola, with the Reds reportedly ready to abandon talks, amid interest in Julian Alvarez and Iliman Ndiaye. Jules Kounde has emerged as a defender target along with Ezri Konsa.

Myles Lewis-Skelly has been offered to Chelsea and Man Utd following Bruno Guimaraes's move to the Gunners, firmly throwing the versatile defender's future into doubt. Man Utd want a left-back, having also been linked with Lewis Hall, David Raum, Antonee Robinson and Jorge Salinas. Chelsea have announced the signing of Pep Chavarria today, and believe Manchester City are interested in Enzo Fernandez.

Tottenham still have both Cody Gakpo and Savinho at the top of their wishlist for the remainder of the window, and are set to sell Cristian Romero to Atletico Madrid, while Inter Milan are back in for Djed Spence. Omar Marmoush, Florin Balogun and Georges Mikautadze have also been linked. Liverpool may move on from their Barcola interest after growing frustrated during talks. Why Tottenham are willing to sell Djed Spence in cut-price deal

Djed Spence is edging closer to leaving Tottenham this summer, with Inter Milan reported to be interested in the England full-back.

Standard Sport understands that the Serie A side are nearing an agreement for around £25.6million, with Spence open to exploring opportunities elsewhere.

After an impressive World Cup campaign, Spence’s standing has never been higher, and he is keen to capitalise on his recent run of form by seeking assurances over his playing time.

Roberto De Zerbi cannot guarantee Spence the minutes he wants at Spurs and says he will not stand in the way of the 26-year-old should he want to move on.

Lewis Hall 'requests Manchester United transfer' in Newcastle talks

Lewis Hall is still very keen to join Manchester United this summer despite Newcastle insisting the defender is not for sale.

Newcastle are desperate to keep hold of Hall this summer, having already lost their three best players in Anthony Gordon, Sandro Tonali and captain Bruno Guimaraes.

Man Utd have already approached Newcastle to explore the conditions to sign Hall, but were told the England international was not for sale.

Despite the club’s stance, The Sun report that Hall remains eager to move to Old Trafford and has made his desire to leave Newcastle clear.

The Sun previously claimed that Hall believes the tactical decisions of Eddie Howe, who has since left his role as Newcastle manager, contributed to him missing out on England’s 2026 World Cup squad.

And now it is said that Hall’s frustrations remain and a move away from St James’ Park is his desire despite Matthias Jaissle’s appointment as Howe’s replacement.

Barcelona make Pedro Porro approach amid Jules Kounde doubts

Barcelona have made an initial approach for Tottenham right-back Pedro Porro as they prepare for a potential departure of Jules Kounde.

According to Goal, Barcelona have contacted Porro’s representatives after Arsenal’s growing interest in Kounde. The Catalan club are already considering alternatives should the France international leave.

Porro only signed a new long-term contract with Tottenham in June, keeping him at the club until 2031, while Roberto De Zerbi considers the Spain international a key part of his plans.

Barcelona could therefore face a difficult battle to sign Porro, but their interest is expected to intensify if Arsenal make a decisive move for Kounde.

Arsenal and Man Utd on alert after Iliman Ndiaye rejects Al Hilal offer

Iliman Ndiaye has turned down an offer from Al Hilal as speculation continues over the Everton forward’s future.

The Senegal international has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park this summer, but reports indicate he would prefer to remain in the Premier League.

Ndiaye, 26, is reportedly confident of attracting significant interest in future transfer windows and does not feel the need to rush into a move this summer.

Arsenal and Manchester United have previously been credited with interest before Saudi bid emerged.
