🚨🇩🇪 Is Julian Nagelsmann on the way out? Separation is a serious scenario according to Sky reports and is being discussed internally. Support for the national team coach in the #DFB presidium is crumbling.

For now, however, no quick decision. First conversation took place overnight between Neuendorf, Rettig, Völler, Nagelsmann. Further in-depth analysis is to take place in Germany.

🗣️Neuendorf announces: “In the coming days, we will jointly and calmly discuss the reasons why the team was unable to tap into its existing potential and failed to live up to its own and Germany’s football expectations.”

“We cannot and do not want to simply return to business as usual with regard to the upcoming tasks after such a devastating blow.”

➡️Further personnel consequences are also being discussed beyond Nagelsmann.

➡️Nagelsmann himself has ruled out resignation. Contract runs until home EURO 2028, earning up to 8m€ per year.
