Arsenal are said to have held shock talks over Newcastle star Sandro Tonali following Mikel Merino’s injury and also seen a bid rejected for striker Igor Tyjon, while they have also now opened discussions over James Wilson at Hearts.Chelsea are poised to recall Mamadou Sarr from Strasbourg to bolster their defensive ranks, with both Aaron Anselmino and David Datro Fofana heading in the opposite direction, and Axel Disasi off to West Ham. The Blues are also rumoured to have failed with a shock late offer for Tylel Tati, having lost out to Liverpool in the race for the £60million summer signing of Jeremy Jacquet - who is due to arrive on Merseyside for a medical - and agreed to let Tyrique George join Everton.
