Barcelona could raise €100m from three major sales before transfer deadline - report

Barcelona could be heading for a hugely significant final week of the transfer window, both in terms of incomings and outgoings.

The club are still focused on improving the squad at Hansi Flick’s disposal, but there are a few players who are no longer in his plans and need to be moved on.

Now, according to SPORT, Barça are hoping to generate close to €100 million through three sales in the upcoming week.

Marc Casado, Alejandro Balde and Hector Fort are all currently outside Hansi Flick’s plans for the immediate future and could be moved on.

Casado valued at €40 million

Marc Casado is one of the most valuable players potentially available.

Barcelona value the 22-year-old midfielder at around €40 million. Clubs in Saudi Arabia are prepared to reach that figure, although Casado would prefer to remain in European football.

His situation has become increasingly uncomfortable after losing the No. 17 shirt to Anthony Gordon and being left outside the squad.

With his contract running until 2028, Barça are in no rush to accept a low offer.

Balde could bring around the same amount

Alejandro Balde is the more surprising name.

The left-back had been expected to begin the season normally, but Flick’s recent comments and his omission from the Elche matchday squad have changed the picture considerably.

Barcelona value Balde at around €40 million.

Benfica have offered approximately €20 million, while Manchester United and Aston Villa are monitoring the situation.

Balde is still only 22 and remains a Spain international, so Barça would understandably demand a significant fee before considering a sale.

Dortmund advancing for Hector Fort

Hector Fort could complete the trio.

Barcelona value the 20-year-old at around €20 million, with Borussia Dortmund currently the most advanced club in negotiations.

Fort spent last season on loan at Elche, but his path at Barça is blocked by alternatives such as Eric Garcia, Jules Kounde and Xavi Espart.

For a player with limited immediate opportunities, a permanent move may now be the most realistic solution.

€100 million could transform Barça’s final week

If Barcelona managed to secure €40 million each for Casado and Balde, plus €20 million for Fort, the total would reach €100 million.

That would be a remarkable amount of outgoing business, particularly after the club already sold Ferran Torres and moved on several other players this summer.

More importantly, those departures could directly impact Barça’s remaining incoming business. The club could look to sign a new centre-back, left-back and striker in the market.

If Deco can turn three players currently outside the main plans into €100 million, Barcelona would enter the final days of the market with far more freedom to finish the squad exactly as Flick wants.
