Gloucestershire have signed fast bowler Che Simmons on loan from Warwickshire for the rest of the season ahead of a permanent move in 2027.The 22-year-old will be available for Gloucestershire's remaining three games of the County Championship season and has agreed a two-year deal starting next season.Simmons made his County Championship debut for the Bears in 2024 but has only played in three first-class matches since. He said the opportunity to play regular first-team cricket was a "big factor" in his decision to move to a new team.Gloucestershire director of cricket Jon Lewis said: "[Simmons] is a hugely talented young cricketer with a very high ceiling, and while he's played a lot of cricket in Warwickshire's second team, we felt this was an opportunity for him to take the next step and showcase his abilities at first-team level."
