LOGAN, Utah – Utah State gymnast Nyla Morabito has been named the America First Credit Union USU Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending on Sunday, March 8. The award is voted on by a state-wide media panel.

This is Morabito's first America First Credit Union USU Student-Athlete of the Week honor this year and the second of her career.

With their sponsorship of the student-athlete of the week, America First Credit Union donates funds directly to support student-athlete scholarships.

Morabito, a junior from Welland, Ontario, Canada, claimed three event titles last week as Utah State posted a 2-0 record with a 196.875-195.725 win at Southern Utah and a 196.650-196.150 home win against No. 25 Oregon State.
