The 25-year-old is certainly known to Liverpool fans given he's previously been a reported target of Jurgen Klopp during his time at Ligue 1 side Nice.The France international has been a key player for the Italian giants in his two years at the club but missed out on Didier Deschamps' World Cup 2026 squad this month. Standing at 6'4, Thuram's physicality and ability to cover both sides of the ball could be a valuable asset.With Iraola set to introduce his fast-paced and high pressing style of play at Anfield, much more energy and athleticism will be needed in the middle of the park to give the Spaniard's philosophy any chance of success.Transfer deadline setInter Milan's interest in Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones goes back to January and the Serie A champions have revisited a move for the 25-year-old this summer. Sport Witness previously reported that the Reds' sporting director Richard Hughes met Inter counterpart Piero Ausilio to discuss a deal for Jones.They add that both sides have not agreed on his valuation, with Inter putting forward a £17m bid and Liverpool setting a £26m price tag on their academy graduate. The figure hasn't put off Inter, with Gazzetta dello Sport claiming once they wrap a deal for Atalanta star Marco Palestra, they'll target Jones but want him to join before their pre-season training commences on July 16.
