Logan Paul gives his unfiltered thoughts as new FIFA World Cup fan

Taking to X, WWE star Logan Paul gave his thoughts on becoming a new football fan after watching the FIFA World Cup.

While most of his thoughts were very positive, Paul did have a go at players for simulation, mocking their ability to sell compared to his WWE compatriots.

"I've never been a Soccer fan, but WOW. I've watched most of the tournament, and this World Cup has amazed me. Here are some things I've realized about the sport:

"1.) Soccer is wildly physical. These players push, shove, and beat the s— out of each other & a lot of it goes unnoticed by the refs. You gotta be extremely durable to thrive on the pitch

"2.) So much theater. These guys sell being 'hurt' better than some of my peers in the WWE.

"3.) Penalty kicks are f—– insane. PK's gotta be the most exciting/f—– thing in all of sports. Imagine being a goalkeeper??

"Soccer goes from team sport to individual sport QUICKLY, probably a mental nightmare for the athletes who lose on behalf of an entire country from a tiny mistake."

Going further in the post, Paul did emphasise his disappointment in the refereeing. But overall, the social media sensation is a huge fan of how the sport has united people from all over the world.

"4.) The referees can completely screw the game, the players, and entire nations with one call. That sucks

"5.) This event may be the closest thing to world unity. All eyes on these athletes on the biggest stage in the world. Superstars are made. Careers forever changed. New fan."

So far, the former WWE United States Champion hasn't attended a game yet. But don't be surprised to see him a FIFA World Cup in the days to come.
