The Hoddle of Coffee: Tottenham Hotspur News and Links for Friday, September 18

Good morning, everyone!

Your hoddler-in-chief is pretty tired. I've actually just woken up after falling asleep on the couch. So please forgive me for this short hoddle.

But I am curious about this whole falling-asleep-on-the-couch thing. When's the last time you've done it. What makes you fall asleep there? Is the bed that far away from you? (it was for me)

We're thankfully near the weekend. And the couch-sleeping hopefully makes me better rested for Saturday's game against Aston Villa (that's a 7.30am ET kickoff).

Baseball is almost over – at least the regular season. The NFL is only just beginning (so is college football). We've got the EFL going on, and there's always golf.

So tell us the last time you fell asleep on the couch. It's okay if it was last week, or even Thursday night.
