Burnley FC Owners Strike Deal With Chinese Toy Firm for Espanyol

The owners of Premier League team Burnley FC have struck a deal with the Chinese backers of RCD Espanyol de Barcelona SAD, with the two football clubs becoming part of a new multi-club structure.

Chinese online game developer Rastar Group has become a shareholder in Velocity Sport Limited, the holding company of Burnley FC, according to a statement. Rastar, which bought Bloomberg Terminal Espanyol a decade ago, will become a minority shareholder in Velocity Sport, according to a person familiar with the matter.
